Now
A snapshot of what I'm focused on right now — updated roughly monthly.

Building
Fullstack developer at TechriseGlow Limited, working across the Techrise POS system and the broader product suite — CRM, loan management, and internal tooling. Day-to-day work spans feature implementation, debugging production issues across Vue and Next.js codebases, writing integration tests for critical payment and sync flows, and reviewing PRs for the team. A lot of the interesting problems right now live at the boundary between offline-first state and a central server.
Learning
Getting sharper at reading unfamiliar codebases quickly — understanding structure, finding the load-bearing assumptions, and knowing which parts are safe to touch. Related: writing tests that actually constrain behaviour rather than just restate the implementation. Conflict resolution in concurrent, eventually-consistent systems is the other thread I keep pulling on.
Thinking about
Production software is a different discipline from software that just works on your machine. The gap shows up in error handling that was never written, tests that mock away the parts that actually fail, and abstractions that made sense at the time but now own the whole codebase. I'm increasingly interested in the craft of writing software that holds up when someone else has to debug it at 2am.
